Getting the Most "Bang for the Buck"

The Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council is committed to providing federal Homeland Security funds to projects and activities that serve the region.

Requests for project, training or exercise funding must be multi-jurisdictional in nature.

Training and exercise curricula must be approved and listed in the federal Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP) and authorized by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) in order for municipalities to receive reimbursements.

Equipment purchased by the Council must be available for use outside the host community.
